Hi! My name is EJ and I am the founder of Hurricane Woodwork, LLC. My main objective is to provide the client with full service woodwork design using ethically and sustainably sourced wood. I work predominantly with reclaimed wood. What others might consider ‘waste,’ I use as raw materials for the furniture I create. Most of my wood is locally sourced.
My products have been featured in restaurants and store fronts in Philadelphia and in homes around the world, as well as in a documentary featuring queer makers and in local newspapers.
I design and hand craft each order to the client's individual specifications. I work with both commercial and residential clientele. I enjoy working with interior designers, restaurants and architects, as well as the general public to create one-of-a-kind pieces for every space.
